It is General Conference weekend and that always makes me happy. Conference not only allows us the opportunity to hear from the leaders and Prophet of the church and receive further guidance on our spiritual progress, but also reminds me of how much I love being with my family and that we will be together forever. A few months ago I was looking for a LDS Family Proclamation to put on our wall. I looked through all the LDS book stores and on line but they were very pricy and kinda dated looking with the boring beige background and plain text or grandma looking dried flower borders. Then one day I was scanning through some LDS Google/Flicker images online and came across this family photo version. This is exactly what I was looking for and I could make it myself and frame it with a simple black frame to match our other artwork in our home saving us a bundle and making our Proclamation special and personal.
I entered our family in a drawing for a family photography sessions from my dear friend Marielle Hayes who is an amazing professional photographer here in Oakland, CA and to my delight I won. I am looking forward to having her take our photos and hopefully use one of them to make our own family proclamation photo. So stay tuned and I will post our session and our Family Proclimation when it is complete.

I've been racking my brain for an idea on how to make a Family Proclamation like we do with The Living Christ (with all the pictures around the edge of Christ.) This is it! Thank you!
